What you meant to say, is dueling eyewitnesses ("He said/she said") are not as easy to sort out as time-stamped video. But we seem to use she-said over he-said in college kangaroo courts, and ...smearing Supreme Court Justices like Kavanaugh, all the time, don't we?
darn right. Eyewitness reports should lead to hard questions asked and answers demanded along with heavy scrutiny of everything taking place.

Kavanagh is a perfect example. His accuser fell, producing plenty of Noise for the circus, while providing virtually NO proofs, but flakey witnesses, with no film, no audio.
Notice the complainer never dared to ever appeal to even a civil court, against Kavanagh.
Good luck, Karen, with convincing a divided court or a Judge Sullivan, to hear you ask him “to sort out” proving a negative, with No evidence, particularly a case of this magnitude, meant to affect the outcome of a historic presidential election.
