My total: Democrats have 216 seats. Republicans have 219 seats. We could VERY easily lose the one Iowa seat, and we may lose more based on late counting or 'found ballots'.
I won't list all 50 states unless asked, but you can check for yourselves at the Yahoo link (no subscription required, unlike NY Times).
The 50 incomplete counts include:
Alaska (1)
Arizona (2)
California (14)
Connecticut (3)
Illinois (2)
Indiana (1)
Iowa (1 - VERY close)
Michigan (3)
Minnesota (2)
New Jersey (1)
New York (10)
Pennsylvania (6)
Texas (1)
Utah (1)
Washington (2)
Some of these concern me more than others because of traditional corruption in those states, but I'm hoping the local counting of House races will provide some protection. The problem is that this is so very close that stealing two seats would make all the difference.
Speaker Kevin McCarthy, anyone?
forget about the 3 Connecticut. Sadly all went wrong way
Your not factoring the ballot harvesting that is yet to kick in.
I hope you are right and I am wrong.
All the xxx seat holders resigned.
Wouldnt it be GRAND if Pelosi got booted out after all of this OMG I hate that BITCH!!!
Republicans pick up 10-15 congressional seats, hold the Senate where they were competing on 2.5X the number of races, have record voter turn out and new registrations, and Trump regularly draws crowds of 20-30K when he visits.
But Donald Trump loses the election
Makes perfect sense, doesnt it???
This sounds promising!
I was working on the same tallies as you. Funny thing is so many of these aren’t called yet. Especially ones that look like the R is going to win. Funny because others in the same states are called when it is leaning D.
but but but Fox called the house Dem controlled in the first journal of election coverage?
VA-7 as well... With 100% in, Nick Freitas (R) leads Abigail Spanberger by 3,000.
Trumps ultimate win is for Senate to remain under Republican control, House to flip Republican. But until we start hearing about major constitutional problems with Democratic election interference noted below, I will question the legal advice that PDJT is getting.
In fact, lawless, bully Democrats have probably been cheating the ballot box for decades without being challenged about their unconstitutional actions imo.
That being said, please consider the following material from related threads.
Regarding House Democrats, hopefully Section 2 of the 14th Amendment (14A) isnt ignored like it has been for previous rigged elections imo. Section 2 penalizes states who cheat the ballot box by reducing House representation for that state. (Bye-bye Nancy!)
14th Amendment, Section 2. Representatives shall be apportioned among the several States according to their respective numbers, counting the whole number of persons in each State, excluding Indians not taxed. But when the right to vote at any election for the choice of electors for President and Vice President of the United States, Representatives in Congress, the Executive and Judicial officers of a State, or the members of the Legislature thereof, is denied to any of the male inhabitants of such State, being twenty-one years of age, and citizens of the United States, or in any way abridged, except for participation in rebellion, or other crime, the basis of representation therein shall be reduced in the proportion which the number of such male citizens shall bear to the whole number of male citizens [emphases added] twenty-one years of age in such State."
Note that voting rights amendments ratified after 14A was ratified have possibly changed how Section 2 penalty should be calculated.
On the other hand, since Section 2 is a penalty, Democrats deserve to be punished by a literal interpretation of that section imo.
Also, the post-Civil War era congressional record shows that lawmakers had clarified that non-citizens do not have the right to vote. Lawmakers had argued that states that allow non-citizens to vote effectively wrongly nullify the Constitutions Establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization Clause" (1.8.4).
"Article I, Section 8, Clause 4: To establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization, and uniform Laws on the subject of Bankruptcies throughout the United States;"
" If the States can admit to the elective franchise those who are not citizens, thereby neutralizing the votes of citizens, not only the Federal power of naturalization becomes a nullity, but" * * * * "a minority of citizens by the aid of aliens may control the government of the States, and through the States the government of the Union [emphases added]." Appendix to the Congressional Globe, 1868. (See near middle of 1st column.)
" Whatever difference there may be as to what other right appertain to a citizen, all must agree that he has the right to petition and also to claim the Protection of the Government. These belong to him as a member the body politic, and the possession of them is what separates citizens of the lowest condition from aliens and slaves. To suppose that a State can make an alien a citizen or confer on him the right of voting would involve the absurdity of giving him the direct and immediate control of the action of the General Government [emphasis added], from which he can claim no protection and to which he has no right to present a petition." Appendix to the Congressional Globe, 1868. (See bottom half of 1st column.)
Insights welcome.
OANN had a graphic up, last night, saying the same thing.
I took a pic of it.....let’s see....they predicted....
Dem: 142
GOP: 154
I hate to tell you this but I believe there were 33 close ones after 2018 and 30 ended up going to the Dem. Their cheating is just too much to overcome.
All the California seats will go DemonRat once they harvest ballots.
One very bright ray of sunshine in the House races...
Republican Lauren Boebert defeated Democrat Diane Mitsch Bush in the race for Colorados 3rd Congressional District...
Did not see this mentioned...She runs Shooter’s Cafe in Rifle, CO...
This is good news for 2nd Amendment...
