Since working inside the system at the federal level is clearly futile (the rot goes too deep), if this election is stolen in plain sight as appears likely, I think the play should be — and I can’t believe I’m saying this since until recently I would have dismissed suggestions like this as insane — to start pushing for secession in one or more red states. Get one to go and others will follow. There will be a lot of outrage right after the “steal” is complete. Go for it then - a more productive outlet for the outrage than street violence.
Quite honestly, I was hoping for a Trump win and a blue state secession - let them be the ones to do it. I suppose that still may happen, if SCOTUS steps into this mess on the right side.
In any case, an eventual split/dissolution of the US is inevitable, I’m absolutely sure of it now - given how close this election was no matter who is declared the winner. I hold out hope it can be managed peacefully.
Most of the people I have received the hardest push back from against secession have been globalist RINO’s. Those morons are so dead now to everyone it is crazy. At this point, reistance to secession is merely defense of tyranny no matter what legal citations they give.
Secession now, secession forever.
Josh Hawley tweeted congrats to MO for a nearly all repub vote across the board. I replied with, So when do the talks of secession begin? Time to join with other red states in order to form a more perfect union because half of the existing one is corrupted.
I believe you are dreaming.
