Can someone explain what is happening in Texas and Ohio? Both states show blue right now!

Triple metro area of Columbus, Cleveland, Cincy...I think Cincy going even more blue than 2016.
Ohio is in two time zones, The eastern zone contains Cleveland and Columbus. The western ohio is not counted as much and is more Republican.

Texas did same thing in 2016. Trends 52% blue early and breaks late to end up 53% red.
Trump is closing the gap inr Ohio, Ohio is Cuyahoga and the rest of the state. It’s a numbers crunch.
