Does a leader help you, or help themself to you?
Book Excerpt | 2011 | Uncle Roy

True service is a noble thing, but catering is sly and snaky.

Jesus taught that the greatest among us should be the servant of all. True service does not enslave the people. Instead, it brings a divine order to earth—true civilization, in other words.

Serving is a noble act done by noble people. Those who are capable of serving are already endowed with greatness by virtue of their marvelous humility, and they truly serve. The good they do is an outpouring of the good already in them. They do not lie for the sake of power, for they do not have lying in their hearts. They already have power—not from the people through election, but from God, to do good for the masses when they are ready. They awaken the people and then minister to an awakened and enlightened populace. Through such men and women the windows of the mind of the world are opened, through which the latent plan of heaven unfolds upon the earth, facilitating the appearance of more and more people with bright natures.

Not so with those who cater to your ego, for their power comes through deception and through people giving in to them. Being full of guile, they have no life, no power except what is gained by deception to rule you in your resignation; so they must preserve your falling state of being. That way, they continue to enlarge their kingdom (of hell) on this earth. Think of it— their good pleasure comes from making you suffer. These psychopaths tell the lies you need to hear, creating problems; then, like angels of light, new variations of psychopaths rise to the occasion of your chronic need to be helped, to solve those very problems. - Hypnotic States of Americans (book) 2011

“Does a leader help you, or help themself to you?

A good leader doesn’t help you, a good leader empowers you to help the whole team. Two minds are better than one.

Or help you at someone else’s expense.
