Thanks for that update. My post yesterday dealt with only one problem (so far), moving open tabs to the top. See the link below for how that was resolved and other problems that were commented on.

I used T-bird 78.4, with no extensions (yet) and I surmise an extension is the problem in your case. Mine (with personal content redacted) looks like
