ELECTION-EVE POSITIVITY
Powerline ^ | NOVEMBER 2, 2020 | JOHN HINDERAKER

Posted on 11/02/2020 3:33:01 PM PST by Hojczyk

First: The polls are shifting in the last days before the election, just as they did in 2016. From Townhall, “If New Batch of Polls are Correct, Trump Will Soar Past 300 Electoral Votes.” Check out the polls cited there. They include Michigan (Trump 48/46), Pennsylvania (Trump 49/47), Wisconsin (Trump 50/49), Florida (Trump 49/45), and so on. We are at the point where polls are pretty much meaningless, but I don’t think it is coincidental that 2020 is just about a carbon copy of 2016.

Most “mainstream” pollsters gave Biden a big lead early, I think for the purpose of aiding Democratic fundraising and discouraging Republicans, and then, in the last days before the election, they show the race tightening to within the margin of error–I suspect because they have changed their weighting of responses–so that no matter what happens, they can’t be “wrong.”

Second: I was on a call this afternoon with senior representatives of the Trump campaign. They appear to be confident of victory. They went through the early voting in each swing state, comparing Biden’s pre-election day lead with Hillary’s early voting lead. They also compared Biden’s early-vote lead with the margin they expect President Trump to rack up tomorrow. If their model is right, Trump will win.

Of course, we all know not to trust models; but still, the Democrats’ anxiety suggests that they may be looking at similar calculations. On the call, the campaign officials talked about the Democrats “Red Mirage” plan that I wrote about earlier today. They claim to know that the Democrats are already, among other things, preparing television ads to address the likelihood that as of tomorrow night, Trump appears to have been re-elected.

What kind of post election ads would they be? “I’m sorry I lost.” Never heard of this before.

It’s going to turn out the way God intends for it to.

I would love to see something SHOCKING that will make fools of the Left on Nov. 4 and any attempts to extend the election.

Something like NY going red should do it.

Four Trump votes from my household today, early voting. One submitted in a drop box, three in person.

FWIW - AZ early vote, 2.465 million votes so far, GOP trails Democrats by 6K ballots - GOP should take lead in first hour tomorrow

It comes down to turnout.. if Trump-supporting voters turn out tomorrow in massive numbers well beyond the usual 60-65% normally seen for a Presidential election, Trump will do well. Given what’s at stake, how any eligible conservative voter could stay home is way beyond me.

In my small circle of people I know, there are at least 3 that are in their 30s and 40s that are voting for the first time. This can’t be just limited to my circle of friends.

“ It’s going to turn out the way God intends for it to.“

Don’t forget to vote.

Moses still had to step out and put that stick in the water.

“It’s going to turn out the way God intends for it to.”

Exactly. If God wants this country to recover and prosper, He’ll get in the hearts of voters to do just that. If not, it was never meant to be.

The 6% that is supposedly not for Trump or Biden or can’t make up their mind really is 3% Trump but afraid to say, 2% 3rd party and 1% will break for Biden.

I have trouble sleeping well...restless. I have never had this kind of anxiety.

Plan a big party at home tomorrow night with relative. Cake, drinks (only one because I’m too old to tolerate a hang over) and party decorations. Also have Trump hats, apparel and buttons to wear. Just hope that all the devices and tvs and wifi aren’t attacked. I need support from fellow Patriots.

Don’t forget to vote.

Oh, absolutely! I'm going early tomorrow morning. Even in my tiny little town, turnout is expected to be way, way up from normal. I think every soul here feels the importance of this particular election.

Rove was just on Fox saying Dems need 32% AA vote to win in Georgia...they are pulling 28%.

There is no enthusiasm for Biden from AA’s-he’s toast.
