In the 2000 election, I started a prayer thread (As Dittojed) on Free Republic to pray for that election. America has been given many reprieves though our choices have all been imperfect men. We've seen losses as well and in those twenty years (wow) we've seen America drift in a direction which is not sustainable.
This prayer thread is not meant to detract from any of the other threads that are active but is a supplement to them. Please add your Prayers and pray for victory not only for President Trump and a Red Congress but for the glory of God and the salvation of this nation.
Father, political elections are momentous to us but of no consequence to You because Your will will be done. But, as Your people who are called by Your name we see what has happened in our land and the direction that it is heading and our hearts are burdened. The promises of one political party versus the other are the promises of light versus dark. The murder of the unborn, the promotion of social lies, division, hatred, anti-Christian/Jewish sentiment, anti-Israelism, war-like aspirations, degeneracy - all of these things are embraced and promoted by one side using their political elite, the media, and the entertainment industry. All of these groups have also been against the reforms put forward by one man, Donald Trump and it has been horrible to watch as lies are spread uncountered. Intelligent people are repeating blatant lies such as the lies about Charlottesville that the left continues to spread and it would be easy for us to throw up our hands and say where is a love for truth any more? But we can't do that, for within us beats a heart that wants Your truth and wants Your justice and wants to see all lying and falsehood put down. This, we know Lord, You can do. Nothing is too hard for You.
And so, I pray today and ask You, Almighty God, that You would look down on America, a nation dedicated to Your glory by our forefathers, and that You would save us. Save us from sin, socialism, and Satan. Protect Your people who take a stand. Protect our President, who while an imperfect man has specifically aligned himself with Your name and Your people and like the prophets of Baal, do exploits for him and Your people tomorrow. Lord, let the sound of Your mighty army resound so loudly tomorrow that the left will be shaken to its core and the lackadaisical Christians will as well. Give the President a mandate - and yet keep him humble for such adoration as we have seen towards him, while wonderful, is also dangerous to put in a man. He is but Your servant and cannot change this land as it needs to go - only You can. And we pray that You will.
Father, we come against every power and principality which would seek to take away our God ordained freedoms and would see to cheat in this election. Lord, may their cheating be a non-issue due to the massive message sent by the sheer number of voters coming out for the side of Liberty, Justice, Law, Order and Life. Cause Your people to rejoice in You as never before - but also show us, through Your almighty power, that our job is not complete. Help us Lord to let this be the beginning, not the end, of a fight to return this nation back to You.
Father, You send revivals and in the 1700s things were pretty terrible as well - but You changed the hearts of a nation and brought about the one nation under a Glorious God for Your purposes. Honor the right that we have done these four years and forgive the wrong. Unite this people around You and help us to fix what has gone wrong and bless our President with four more years and a mandate to turn the nation back towards Your truth.
I pray for the House and Senate races. Please turn them red as well because in order to make the changes necessary to our justice system and to our laws we need to not have the same sort of lawless obstruction we've witnessed since Pelosi and team have been in office. This isn't about politics. It's about freedom and truth and right. Wherever there is corruption on the right please show us so we can root it out. It's not about parties. It's about truth and judeo-Christian principles upon which we were founded.
Help us, O Lord and glorify Yourself by so doing.
Thank You, Lord for Your blessings and for letting us be here for a time such as this.
It's in the matchless and holy and magnificent name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ that I pray these things.

Father God you’re awesome in power and might. No enemy can thwart or overthrow your will and purposes no matter how threatening in scope. We ask in faith, proclaiming a mighty crushing victory on election day. Defeat your enemies and ALL the glory, honor, and praise we give unto You, Amen. Thank You we Love You.

I once heard a recording of 2 Chronicles 7:14 being read by the recently departed Charlie Daniels.
Nobody could read that passage like Charlie.
