Vaccines won’t help. Fauci has already said those vaccines with the earliest availability won’t immunize people, they will only keep them from being symptomatic. IOW, the vaccines will create a bunch of asymptomatic people who can still spread the virus.
I would prefer asymptomatic anytime of the day over symptomatic. If vaccinated people won’t get sick enough to be hospitalized, it will reduce fear of covid-19.
I am now 100% sure I was infected on the Carnival cruise early this year. Had a strange and unusual dry cough for a 10-12 days post-cruise. My body fought it off and I never got sick again, and continuing normal activities. Florida did not close down much at all. All my favorite seafood joints along beach on A1A highway are open. I go to Walmart and Aldi every week. I escort wife every 3 weeks for cancer treatments. I think I am immune from that mild infection in early March. So what if I am 80 years old.
The vaccine will be very effective in reducing fear of covid-19 similar to my losing fear of getting sick.
