I’m a native Texan, but spent 12 years in Alaska. I worked as a four Guide one summer on the Alaska Railroad from Fairbanks to Denali Park. We had an older tour group from Houston That kept complaining about how bright the evening was and they couldn’t sleep. I told them (jokingly) that if they didn’t stop complaining, we would cut Alaska in half and make Texas the 3rd largest state. My supervisor had a talk with me...
