Do you know any 2016 Trump voters now staying home or voting Biden?

Posted on 11/01/2020 11:29:36 AM PST by MNDude

The media keeps telling us the polls about how Biden is going to destroy Trump in the election. That means a number of people who voted for Trump in 2016 are not this time around.

In both public and private, I've seen the opposite. This is including a number if black artists, idiots like Glenn Beck, and disenfranchised Ted Cruz supporters.

So I'm curious if any of you know someone who is changing their support. Only one I can think of is Ann Coulter.

Official estimates are that up to 200,000 people that voted for Trump in 2016 are now voting for Joe Biden in 2020.
These same people just happened to die with Covid this year.

Not one.

And all those celebUturds nd RINOs that said they voted Trump last time but now are so ashamed they are voting for Biden are full of sh*t.

So I don’t think Trump has lost one single vote but he’s gained many.

Nope. Quite the opposite is happening. I have four friends and three relatives who didn’t vote for Trump four years ago, but they are all voting for him this time.

Hm sadly I know of one who decided Trump is “bad for the environment”.
Others have liberal wives, say they will still vote Trump but they complain about his “flaws”.
I think he’s a great president.

I suspect my wife may have abandoned Trump. You can put her in the “pearl clutching” category. She is very offended by Trumps crudeness. *sigh* I have been talking with her, she voted for Trump last time, but mostly because she detested Hillary.

Unfortunately, yes, all suburban women in DuPage County (Illinois), which used to be a Republican stronghold but is far from it these days.. They don’t like Biden but hate Trump. Fortunately, not in a swing state. However, I know just as many who wrote in candidates in 2016 because they thought President Trump would turn hard left when he got in office. They are all voting Trump this time around.

While in the city, we keep it pretty close to the vest, I don’t know of one single person I’ve heard on the radio, seen on social media, or heard of isn’t going to do anything other than vote Trump.
I do know a LOT of people who couldn’t bring themselves to vote for him, but are now doing so enthusiastically.
BTW was out in N/W MN last weekend and the place looked like a Trump Pence Theme Park.

There are sure a whole lot of people that weren’t so sure about Trump in 16 but voted for him anyway

that are now going to enthusiastically vote for him

I clearly remember the primaries and all 17 were kind of has-beens except for Cruz and Trump

and Trump very effectively took our Cruz by calling him lyin Ted

and then there was that weird stuff with Ted that I won’t even get into ( like with the Lee Harvey Oswald thing ).

but the point being that Trump clearly emerged from the Republican field by the end of the 2015 year. And at that point seeing the very vigorous in intellectual Republican primary contest was an enthusiastic supporter of Trump and of course his only become more so is he’s actually done 567 things

Just like building 435 miles of wall - 30 foot concrete and steel. start with that. And then ending catch and release

Just on immigration alone , as a conservative you have to vote for this guy

Immigration has been , and will continue to be the number one issue for the United States of America going into the future

Who is allowed in and who is not?

How do people get citizenship?

Those are the two primary questions.

The third primary question is : temporary worker status

Immigration.

Was there one question it either debate or the vice presidential debate on immigration?

Four years ago, I was a “Never Trump” guy. I was butt hurt that Cruz didn’t get the nomination. My wife and I already voted in person. But. I was prepared to crawl over broken glass and run over and through as many ANTIFA maggots as necessary to vote for President Trump’s reelection.

None, however, I have had two coworkers say they did not vote for Trump in 2016 but will this year.

My college aged daughter is not for Trump, but, when it came time to fill out he ballot, she could not vote for Biden either. She wrote in her mother's name.

I know someone like this. I have tried to argue that only results matter, but some people are fixed on form over substance.

And I've even made arguments for the crudeness. I love seeing the pompous, poised and snooty politicians get taken down a peg or two. That is needed.
