Quercetin as a good substitute for HCQ, because it also acts as a zinc ionophore.
quercetin (kale extract, approximately) and ecgc (green tea extract) are both zinc ionophores. The latter is available at Costco. The former, at Super Supplements.
I also stock actual tonic water in case.
And, I’d go get actual hydrochlorquine if I was actually feeling early symptoms.

Everybody in my house got Covid....All 5 of us, 3 adults, 2 grand kids. I started hydroxy-Q a couple weeks before I was diagnosed with it. My doc wouldn’t prescribe it for me, her association wouldn’t let her. My kids doc did it for me. We all got hydroxy-q and I believe it really helped.

My wife take HCQ for some autoimmune disorders. I borrowed some of hers and then friend with RA who no longer uses it brought me plenty.
My guess is that everyone has 5-10 Facebook friends that will be more than happy to give you all you need. Even doctors who won’t prescribe HCQ will prescribe Z-pac, steroids, and anti-biotics.

I might add....until you can get the HCQ Rx, why not take Dr Zelenko’s suggested prophylactic prototocol?

I know when I tested positive, but I don’t know when I actually contracted Covid. It was my intent to take hydroxy-q prior, but but sure I did. I’m only talking a few days overlap. The actual Covid didn’t see that bad, but I did have a few complications. Caught pneumonia, broke my right hip in a hospital fall.
Yes, I did take zinc.
