They live near their in Grosse Pointe. Belle Isle is mostly a park and where Detroit holds festivals and Fourth of July festivities.

At one of the large yacht clubs North of Belle Isle, once saw a dozen yachts with helicopters. One yacht had two helicopters. Both looked like Bell Twins, with retractable gear.
It’s a famous place, but there is a mansion/castle in the area, which has a very large stone and brick, drive through “gate house”.
Also, Henry Ford built one of his wife’s summer homes up there, complete with gate house.

Do they honestly think that hiding from the public is good optics, and will inspire people to vote for him?
I think sneaking into town like a thief and then sneaking out again all the while hiding from the public, is definitely a sign of weakness and lack of confidence.
