Sigh. Read some history. No foreign nation stays in Afghanistan very long. We’ve stayed longer than most. Getting into Afghanistan is nearly aways much easier than getting out. We aren’t going to change them and we aren’t going to civilize them either. All that we gain by staying there is losing more American lives. Once again, Trump is right.

Yeah, I fully expect Afghanistan to pull a D-Day type invasion on us any moment now. I assume their over 5,000 ships like we, the Brits and our allies are sailing right now around the horn of Africa and into the South Atlantic, headed for the shores of Florida. Yup, I expect their helpers from Yemen and Sudan have added three motor boats and a canoe each to the flotilla!
