I doubt that they’re getting a plethora of death threats anyway, but to the extent that they might be, they should remember that Americans don’t do fascism. We also don’t do dictatorships or communism. We basically don’t comply with unconstitutional BS like these two (and many others) are putting forth, and will use our second amendment to resolve the situation if it gets out of hand.

Donald Trump has emboldened and empowered an element in our country that we know exists — sometimes we don’t want to talk about it, but it’s absolutely there. And there’s a lot of racist, misogynist, xenophobic people out there who threaten me and my family and other elected officials because the president gives them license.
