Blow my nose could be code for vomiting:
Nausea and vomiting are serious side effects of cancer therapy. Nausea and vomiting are side effects of cancer therapy and affect most patients who have chemotherapy.

I was thinking the same thing. Goodness, to do a radio show and have to deal with these side effects takes so much energy. Prayers going out.
I went through chemo just about a year ago. Fortunately for me I only lost a small amount of hair, otherwise I had none of the side effects I was warned to expect.
When the time comes I hope I have the courage to say “no” to chemo.
I watch him every day. He keeps the same “handkerchief” next to him during the show and uses it many, many times during the broadcast. He doesn’t really blow his nose into it, but merely dabs at it. Might be for allergies or something. He has apologized for this action in the past. He does not cut the video feed when he does it.
Or if he has a cold while being immune compromised due to chemo ... not a good thing.
True, but he wasn’t off the air long enough to take care
of vomiting and recover. He’s had a runny nose for a few
days. I’m pretty sure he was just clearing his nose.
