pure bullshit from a Biden turd.
I’ve had great fun with them. They called me 3-4 times a couple years ago. Here’s how it goes. They claim you owe money. They claim you filed a false tax return. They try to beat you down acting very accusatory and threatening. They claim they sent you letters and that you did not respond to them. They claim the cops will come arrest you.
BUT
because they are reasonable they are willing to work with you RIGHT NOW to avoid your imminent arrest. They then tell you to go buy apple I-tunes gift cards or Target store gift cards or the like because apparently this is how the IRS prefers to be paid (gee, that’s not suspicious or anything...and I certainly don’t tell them my brother worked for the IRS and that the IRS will NEVER call anybody).
So last time I played along. I acted scared and like I was willing to cooperate as they went through their whole spiel. Then they got to the part about how the cops were going to come and arrest me. I told them in quivering voice “OK....well when you call them tell them I’ll be waiting....
Naked.
With all my guns.”
“The guy on the other end who was obviously a Paki (they always are) was stunned. In a shocked voice he said “wha.....so.....that’s it???” Then I burst out laughing and told him with pure malice oozing from my voice that he just got played like a little beyotch.
He hung up. They never tried calling me again sadly. I would enjoy tormenting them again.
IRS does not use the phone system for defaults. Only incoming from a taxpayer.
Because they are.
I love to mess with them if I have a few minutes.
I got one like that once, I think it was from some heroin or opiate junkie. She was sniffling all the time and I could hear the TV in the background. Told me that they had a deputy around the corner waiting to arrest me if I did not pay the fine. I told her to send the car I will go willingly.
THE IRS DOES NOT CALL you on phone.
Bump for the truth, which is useful info
They mail..
I’m more sick of getting texts from Dem operatives. I mess with them, too.
Please be considerate. You are no longer in the Navy.
Hey everybody ... take a humor break and click on M-cubed's link at Post 39. Cheers!
My aunt got a phone call last yr from someone who claimed her nephew was in some sort of trouble in Las Vegas and needed 4,000, she of course said “Andrew is that you” so of course they said “Yeah its your grandson Andrew” she didnt have the 4 grand to give them she smelled something was off with the conversation, its a typical scam targeting seniors..she called her son right after, uh, he was home, he’s only 16 he would never let him go to vegas with his friends
If you can find a police whistle buy it and keep it close to your phone, it will work well as a deterrent to future calls.
Does Amazon sell their dictionary/translation book?
Caller: Hello, this is Bob and I'm a Medicare savings specialist...
Me: I'm not eligible for Medicare.
Caller: Sorry to hear that. I also work with Microsoft, and I noticed your Technical Support is about to expire.
Me: Yeah, I can't justify the cost.
Caller: Extended warranty for your vehicle?
Me: My car's too old to cover.
Caller: Okay, I am now seeing that you have a warrant out for your arrest with the Federal Reserve, Department of...

Actually, I did get a courtesy call from the IRS about 8 years ago. I had left money on the table that they owed me and they were reminding me to refile a return which required more information. It was a genuine notification, but with potentially good news for me.

It takes the IRS an average FORTY MINUTES to answer a phone call from a taxpeasant.
I would just laugh in the face of some caller pretending to be the IRS.
Yeah all types of scams out there. They should go to prison. Next time use a fake name. “Ahmet, is that you?” “Yeah, it’s your grandson Ahmet”.
Nope. Regular mail.
Trust me.
(I had to look ;’}
