I’m a Sig man myself. Are Kimberly guns any good? Where do they rate on the High Point/Taurus scale?

We own two Kimber 1911s. The have been flawless performers for us.

In our experience the customer service has been excellent and spare parts are shipped quickly and correctly.

Sorry your experience with them differed.

I've never owned a Kimber.

But I'd always heard they were very well respected.

I own a Taurus...and is a great little gun.

I own a Sig..that likes only certain ammo..prolly needs a gunsmith.

I own a CZ52...that is a beast to shoot.

I have a Glock for sale....

Yup. Kimber is known for using MIM steel parts, hence the name, “Mimber.” Still better than a Block.. err Glock.
