Yup. Kimber is known for using MIM steel parts, hence the name, “Mimber.” Still better than a Block.. err Glock.

When I was looking at possibly getting a 1911 and comparing different brands, they did seem to be a bit overpriced. I don’t think they’re any better than a standard Colt or Springfield Armory 1911. If I had the $$ I’d probably go for a high dollar Wilson Combat or something, but the higher end Kimbers do look pretty, especially their Lone Star edition.
