HALLOWEEN SLIDE:
When our kids were growing up, we had people from all over our countryside and from the city visit our subdivision which is just one block out side the city limits.
We had a lot of professional people living here then. After the urban areas started having things like razor blades etc. the local churches and organizations started having parties and haunted house tours etc.
Now we don’t get anyone. Usually have some candy just in case, but last couple of years no one.
When I was a kid, we were free range-went all over town unaccompanied minors. That shouldn’t happen in today’s world.
I think the organized parties are a good thing.
I dressed up like a trump supporter today. Scared the hell out of some people.
