I grew up eating Mayonnaise Sandwiches. I still have one if I get the urge.
My Mother ate them during the Depression. They made their own Mayo (Eggs, Oil and Vinegar) and ate it on day old bread.

Never had really good potato salad til I moved to Texas. It’s yellow mustard forward. Mayo on a burger is disgusting.
