I think the dems really wanted Harris but she got so slaughtered in the primaries that they nominated the candidate most likely to not finish his term and then had Harris be the VP, knowing that when he left office for whatever reason, she would become the president.

That way, they got who they wanted in with nobody electing her.

Package your idea with the fact that Pelosi has been checking up on the ways that a POTUS can be removed from office AND she and Wray had copies of Hunter Biden's PC.

Given that it is Pelosi, she may have another trove of evidence waiting for Harris.

I am not so sure. Demonkkkraps who really control the party behind the curtain knew none of the others radicals (including Harris) had a chance against Trump. Biden was the Trojan horse to keep the party together in the sense the kkkraps would get what they want but sell him to the voters (legal and illegal) as the moderate, from the halcyon days of the obozo administration. But Biden shot off his mouth and said he had to have a “woman of color” or something like that as his VP. Kkraps were locked in now to VP black woman .... give it to Oprah (no way she’d do it), Mooshell (ha ha, the obozos taking orders from Biden? fat chance) ... and ....and .... the pickings for black woman VP candidates to sell to the voters were very slim .... so they they grabbed Harris who had zero delegates. This is a Hail Mary pass in politics. If Biden-Harris lose, she has no POTUS future anyway ... she was just a token. If they win, the wizards behind the curtain will be telling these spent Trojans what they need to deliver to keep the coalition of commies together. That’s my theory.
