A 26-year-old man has been accused of stealing a bulldozer from a Florida construction site, driving it into a neighborhood and knocking down campaign signs for Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, according to authorities and homeowners.
The man took the bulldozer in Haines City on Saturday and repeatedly destroyed Biden signs in full view of people who live in the neighborhood, witnesses said. James Blight was charged with grand theft auto and trespassing, according to the Haines City Police Department.

Police said Blight claimed he was too drunk at the time to remember what happened. It was not immediately clear whether he has an attorney who could comment on his behalf.

Under the bulldozer... no that’s for the pancake girl and her friends.
Nuke it from orbit.
It’s the only way to be sure.
It was a front end backhoe but cool nonetheless.
If you're gonna go down for something go down big.
I guess Im a bit older than you. LOL
Many of our dozers didnt have keysin fact, it was a running joke to send the new guy back to get the dozer key. Tracked vehicles that top out at 3 mph and tear up any surface you turn on, arent good candidates for thieves. Then again, you could get a yahoo out for a joyride like this guy...
When I saw the headline, first thing I thought was it would be a felony case given what a dozer would do to a yard.
It's called "Show of Force".......
With that being said, he should have claimed he was chasing squirrels......
I almost hit one the other day but after chasing it over two lawns and flower gardens with my car, it finally ran up a tree.....
Have him pay for the fuel and give him a public service medal.
Hey he was drunk much harder to walk and do it give the guy a break!!
I haven’t been in seat of a dozer since 16 but give me a few minutes and keys.
No, but my hope is that it was a dry run for the next antifa riot.
Woulda been better if there were a few BLM’s run over too.
I bet he had to search to find any.
Does he have a contact number? There are a few Big Guy signs in my neighborhood that need bulldozed.
I have operated several makes of heavy articulating front end loaders.
A key lock secured the cab and punched a code into the dash key pad to unlock the system to start/operate.
The only piece of equipment that I saw that didn’t have a key was an old pipeline and it had a switch and a hand crank
Military dozers in the 80s didnt have them, nor the WWII surplus equipment that we ran on the ranges. That didnt even have mufflers!
Fun times, but its no wonder Im deaf.
