It was a weird ending to a baseball game...
Dodgers players need to forget about this and move on...

I’m done with ALL sports.

That was a wild ending. Well see how the Dodgers bounce back.

Shame I don’t give a sh*t about professional sports anymore.

Until I read this, I had no clue the world series was going on, and after reading it, I still don’t care.

I thought most FReepers are done with pro sports due to their using games as political statements.

I'm not saying this to slam them - but I didn't have a clue the World Series was being played right now!
I used to be a big sports fan until about three years ago...

There’s supposed to be 162 games in a regular season, before the playoffs.
The winners have gone through and prevailed over that grueling schedule.
This year they played 60 games.
It just can’t count.
No team is really going to be the champion. Certainly not World champs.

Should have been two errors charged instead of just one.
It is now a best 2 out of 3 series.

I only wound up tuning in for the end. And at 4 hours I’m glad (geeze baseball, come on). But that was wild.

Bumped into the Brown’s game today and saw the provocative writings on the lower back of their helmets.
I’m so glad I dropped the NFL from my patronage.

That was so fun! The sheer joy of Brett Phillips and the entire scene was a real highlight that I got to share with my two teenage sons.
We were not fans of either team during the season but we are rooting for Tampa Bay in the series. I think since we are on the east coast we are more familiar with them - especially this year with the way the games were played.

First 2 minutes of sports I’ve watched this year. The screams of the mostly non-existent fans are particularly amusing.

Signs of the coming Apocalypse, sports edition:
Dodger vs. Rays, 4th game of the World Series
Middle Tennessee State vs. Rice, last minute quadruple-carom missed field goal
Indiana vs. Penn State, overtime win on 2-point conversion that only (maybe) involved a touch of the pylon and probably shouldn’t have even gotten that far.
All that bizarreness within a 24 hour time frame.

No, not really. Something I learned since a boy - CATCH the ball first before you do your next move. Dopey catcher was too worried about the NEXT move and not the CURRENT move. CATCH.THE.BALL.
