An accused ma-and-son killing team were indicted Friday in the slaying of a construction worker.
Raymond Jackson, 22, is accused of firing more than a dozen bullets into the victim’s car — after which is mother, Avita Campbell, 38, smashed the victim’s windshield, prosecutors said.
Jackson, 22, has yet to be caught but Queens prosecutors say they have enough evidence to charge him with the murder of Lasaaun Lawrence.
Campbell was charged Oct. 14 with murder and weapons possession in Lawrence’s death, and is being held at Rikers Island without bail.
Sources said Campbell had a long-simmering feud with the victim.
She and her son drove to Far Rockaway, Queens on Sept. 22 in their white BMW.
They approached Lawrence, 27, who was sitting in a double-parked car on Beach 31st St, prosecutors said.
“It is hard to imagine a mother teaming up with her son to commit murder, but that is sadly what happened here,” said Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz. “This was vicious, senseless revenge over a petty dispute.”
