Have killed moose with 6.8 spc, 110 grain ttsx and with my 308 scar. Out in the sticks, everybody uses cheap old military rifles (SKS. Luv my 30-378 also. Load lapua brass with 98 grains RL-22 and 180 grain TTSX. Leaves barrel at 3280. Just too much for moose unless you're shooting halfway across the Yukon.
Use the gun you can put 3 bullets thru the same hole at 100 yards, moose ain't that tough if you hit them right.
