Rod Serling did not punch Mike Wallace in the nose at the end of the interview. And for that Im sorely disappointed.
I didn’t see anything that Mike Wallace did in that interview which would elicit from Serling a ‘punch in the nose’.
Those were different times. People, generally, had self-respect and respect for community; and followed rules of comportment that were generally understood. They knew how to handle themselves, even when being confrontational
