I purchased cases and cases of ‘89 and ‘90 Bordeaux. Sadly it did not last past 2000. No regerts.

No regerts.

Odd, non-sparkling wines seldom give me gas. Strange that!

“First, I cannot be. Second, I do not deign to be. Mouton I am.” When excluded from the top tier of Bordeaux in 1855, the estate began putting this note in French on the bottles. It was awarded first tier in 1973 after much needling.

The 89 which this is, did not cost anything near 2K on release. Probably in the area of $200 or so. I have some 82 Mouton which I paid $45 retain in 85 FWIW. The $2K is the restaurant menu price. Fair retail price today is about $800 for 89.

” Sadly it did not last past 2000. “

Did you drink it all or did it go stale. I don’t know much about wine.
