These proceedings take a while. Unlike the mortgage crisis, which involved the bursting of a property bubble, this involved the literal theft of billions of dollars being diverted into personal bank accounts. This guy will serve time. Less than he would have if he hadn’t rolled over for the Feds, but time nonetheless.
