For those readers on the world-wide-webs who may not know, mouthwash should only be used IN THE MOUTH. You've been warned.

I’ve heard that saline and/or antiseptic sinus rinses inactivate the virus too. And that the sinuses are probably more important than the mouth and throat.

Ping. Do I remember you having your people using Listerine as part of your anti-Covid protocol, from many months ago?

My dad used the original Listerine product often, and especially when we had colds. I hated it, but I think it did a good job of killing mouth germs.

Sad that it even occurred to you to have to post that!

Thanks for the OP.

I wonder if mouthwash is now going to disappear from stores. Hey, if we did it to toilet paper....

Mouthwash could ‘inactivate’ human coronaviruses that cause infections like the common cold - Listerine marketing team says. :)

Don’t forget the eyes. I recommend an eye wash made from fresh jalapeno juice.

If you feel a burning sensation, it means it’s working. :)

For what it’s worth, I have been making my own mouthwash of peroxide and a bit of peppermint oil and a little bit of oregano oil for years. After I brush my teeth I sprayed this concoction into my mouth as far back as I can and under my tongue. Swish around for as long as I can.
Then I take a Q-tip and put peroxide on it, then run this around the inside of my nostrils.
I’ve also been making my own tonic water from cinchona bark, Take zinc vitamin C, quercetin, etc.
