Reminds me of the time I was attending a funeral of a sect that believed people would need money in the afterlife and could take whatever they were buried with. People who were viewing the body were putting cash into the casket.

I was behind this guy who started collecting the cash. I asked him, “What are you doing? I mean, I don’t believe in this but they obviously do. You can’t just trash their feelings this way. They mean for this fellow to have that money on the other side.”

“Don’t worry,” he answered. “I will be putting in this check.”

If you are taking Tylenol it can cause your liver enzymes to go a bit wonky.

Add milk thistle to your diet. Can't hurt. Unless you are allergic to ragweed. Then don't

Nope, I don’t take Tylenol. I could try milk thistle. If I’m allergic to ragweed, would the milk thistle make me sneeze, or what?

Itching.

Rarely happens but when it does it is most uncomfortable.

And makes people very cranky. Well, person. Only had one person have a reaction. But he was very vocal.

He quit taking it and took Benadryl until it went away. About two days if I remember correctly. Found out he was VERY allergic.

That seems like something I could do without. Maybe I’ll see if there are other options!

I hereby present the unofficial Undead Thread cartoon:

The Undead is an American horror punk band formed in 1980 in the East Village, New York City, United States, by Bobby Steele (vocals and guitar), Chris "Jack" Natz (bass) and Patrick Blanck (drums). They were one of the pioneers in the New York hardcore scene. The Undead have undergone many personnel changes throughout the years and today, Steele is the only remaining original member and chief songwriter of the band.

Bobby, by the way, is a born-again conservative and the inventor of the down-stroke. He's the real deal...indeed, he's wearing a Kris Krispy t-shirt.

I don’t know how I missed this post, but it seems I do a lot of that these days.

HTB is correct in the milk thistle for liver function, but I won’t go over it because I’ve already addressed it at length and boringly so, I’m afraid.

Will the GP’s office be sending the “things” in for biopsy?

Squeeful kitteh!

Good morning.

It was a long afternoon, but I managed to get through it.

Today, I’m supposed to have two visitors but not at the same time. The second will make me late taking the stuff to the donation lot, but it has to be done, and serves me right for procrastinating. I need to get it done today because I can’t put any water cases in the truck until the stuff is gone.

Favorite Daughter has some diverticulitis and some polyps, but she hasn’t told me what the medicos are going to do about them. I had Sleepus Interruptus again last night thanks to text messages. I need to remember to shut off the vibration mode when I turn the phone down. Unngh.

I have already packed one box this morning and straightened the living room so company can sit and I’ll move a few boxes to take more photos of book shelves. I’m also going to pack at least four more boxes before I give up.

That is, after I’ve written a letter to my Favorite Son. I may or may not survive the day. At least I’ll be tired enough to sleep through the night, I hope.

You sound very busy! Usually the GE removes the polyps and biopsies them.

My food tastes like dust again today. Weird.

I hate when that happens.

My brain is busy, but actually getting all the things done that I’ve listed may be an entirely different thing. I’m going to try and pack, and I’ll keep going until I just have to quit. If I get started! LOL!

I’m so tired I’m stupid and I’m thinking the only way I’ll be able to stay awake is to keep moving.

Well, that idea died on the vine. The boxes I have are too big for books. I will have to actually buy book boxes. The smallest boxes I could find are still too large for books. If I don’t pack them full, I can’t stack anything on top. If I do pack them full, they can’t be handled easily. (Meaning, I have to be able to lift and stack them on my own.)

I’ll go to the local U-Haul and check out what they have, or order some online.

Walmart sells small boxes for about $1 each. I use them when I mail things to Elen, USMC.

I have those, thinking they would be great for books, but they’re too big for me to handle if they’re full. I can use them for something else, but I have to have book boxes. U-Haul will buy them back at full price when I’m done with them.

Those small ones are 14” X 14” and that’s far too much. Book boxes are about 12.5” X 12.5”.

Huh, who knew?

Tom and his dad have gone shopping for whatever they want. I’m going to the used bread store to get used bread.
