The town of Fermoy in County Cork has cut ties with its Polish twin, Nowa Dęba, over a motion opposing LGBT ideology.
All six councillors in Fermoy voted to sever the towns 14-year relationship with the eastern Polish town, which had included exchange visits and cultural events, said Councillor Noel McCarthy who proposed the vote.
We terminated because we felt that their local authority had discriminated against the LGBT community, Mr. McCarthy said, referring to a motion passed by Nowa Dęba in 2019. [ ]
Nowa Dębas 2019 resolution pledged to defend our tradition, culture and religion against aggressive, deceptive and harmful LGBT ideology, according to the Atlas of Hate, a map created by local activists which tracks LGBT-free zones.

I dont know how to say this in Polish. So I will say it in English. G_d bless the Poles!
Bóg, Honor, Ojczyzna! (God, Honour, Fatherland)
It’s for the best. 14 is probably a little long in the tooth for them anyway.

I am of Hungarian descent. And there is an old Hungarian saying: The Poles and the Hungarians drink from the same cup.
That was true 100 years ago. And it is true today.
Very true.
The Poles saved Western Civilization 2X, (1) in 1683 from the Ottoman Turks at the Gates of Vienna and (2) in 1920 from the Bolsheviks during the Russian Revolution.
In my daily prayers I ask G_d to watch over the Christian Eastern European nations from the Baltic states in the north to the Balkan states in the south and defend them from the Islamic hijrah, the Russian bear, and the bureaucrats of the EU.

That is absolutely correct! If it were not for the Poles, the European elite would now be Turkish slaves, or be sitting in a Soviet gulag. It is a damn shame that this fact is not more widely known.
How ironic that it may Eastern Europe that saves the West.
Awww, some Irish folk, a good day’s boat ride away from Poland, did not like a decision the good folk of Poland had made, and severed the mayoral friendships.
Do ya think those Irish folk, following European historical trends, will be sending armed troops, next?
You made me curious as to whether or not there were boat routes between Ireland and Poland; couldn’t find any. Direct flights from Dublin to most Polish cities are over five hours long, with flights to Warsaw being as long as six hours.

I am sure the Poles are simply crushed.
Loonies doing the Poles a favor...
Nowa Deba’s win, no doubt.
Poles are the only Catholics left in Ireland now.
I used ‘boats’, because IMHO, the Irish military did not have any major airlifting vehicles capable for the job.
