I don't really know much about how Australian television works. Are their systems as outdated, useless and easily replaced by existing cable channels as their American counterpart PBS?

Canada with the federally funded Canadian Broadcast Corporation is very similar to SBS. On US politics both CTV
and CBC are nothing but CNN repeater stations, misinforming Canadians about President Trump and the populist movement. The political elites of both Canada and Australian are deeply frightened by the possibility of such a movement in their own bailiwicks.
As to the socialists and Marxists in Australia, their party will be over when they run out of every one else’s money.Then their lefty led violent purges will begin, populism will arise and they will be thrown into the dumper.
