Siege of Yorktown: The Last Major Land Battle of the American Revolutionary War (Battle of Yorktown - Surrender at Yorktown - Siege of Little York) Kindle Edition.
I read this great little history book last week via Kindle.
This battle could have gone either way.
When you read this book, you say to your self, “Thank You, Lord, for our ancestors who beat a superior force.”
Robert Capas WWII autobiography.
He was a Hungarian-American photo journalist who hung out with Hemingway and all of the famous WWII writers and photographers.
His story is fascinating...somewhat of a M*A*S*H meets For Whom the Bell Tolls, with Some Stephen Ambrose rolled in. He documents how war is terrifying, boring, unfair, political, and bizzaro all at the same time.
Last book read: Hitler by Norman Stone. Sorry, I was reading a lot of books about the Second World War, and this one caught my eye. It was blessedly short, but didn't have much new in it.
The 4th Turning...reading it now. Very interesting. Everything comes in cycles and seasons. No linear timelines.
The Shadow of the Wind.
2020 Commercial Aquaponics Training manual....
“The 21 biggest lies about Donald Trump (and you)” by Kurt Schlichter.
I have an hour commute each way. Just got done with the Pike Logan series by Brad Taylor in Audio books. Love them
Just finished Joe Rochefort book a few weeks ago, good read
Caste by Isabel Wilkerson
Agent Sonya by Ben Macintyre
You posted: “I only have time for freerepublic in the Bible.” I guess you have a new edition of the Bible, I can’t find “The Book of Freerepublic” in either the old or new testament. ;)
“The Second World Wars by Victor David Hanson”
I finished it last week and will read it again. It’s an outstanding book on WW II.
“We The Living” by Ayn Rand. It unfortunately has become a long term project.
