The SCOTUS did not cut the census count short by two weeks. They stayed a lower Court ruling that illegally extended the census count by two weeks. The ruling was 7-1, and you will struggle to find the actual vote count in any news story.

The Supreme Court will have to decide who gets represented in Congress — illegals or American citizens.

If the Court rules that undocumented get counted in the census, then California, for example, will get an increased number of representatives in Congress, and American citizens in other states will lose their representatives in Congress, and will become disenfranchised.

Of course, it is a no-brainer, but who knows?

This year's census has been a complete cluster foxtrot. My father is in a nursing home so when he got a census form in the mail I responded on the web "no one lives here". Later they visited and left a call back card. I called and talked to the census worker and again responded "no one lives here". Then they mailed another request.

On the other hand, I mailed in my census form skipping the race and ethnic questions again but they never called or visited to correct my oversight. Maybe they just figured it was the same as the last time I refused and filled it out for me.

This is a lie for TWO reasons:

1) The respondents were getting sick of the enumerators to the point that the enumerators were in danger.

2) The garbage software package that the Census was using (FDC- Field Data Capture) was actually a major source of under-counting.
