I'm of the opinion that if there's anything to cold fusion it's boron proton fusion not deuterium fusion.🤔

I even remember their names (I think) without doing a lookup, Fleischman and Pons? I’m still convinced that they were sincere and, like this article suggests, may have found something. If it is real, it could be good for an energy-hungry world!

Oh AND there was a report today of a demonstration of super-conductivity at an AMAZING 57 ºF / 13.3 °C / 287.7 K temperature, albeit under an unrealistic 2.5 MILLION Atmospheres. Still, what is experimental today can, if scalable, lead to an amazing tomorrow!

“I blew up my last shop building with just this kind of nonsense.”

I worked on the room temperature fusion problem years ago, but got stuck on how to heat the room up to 15 million degrees. It looks like you may have gotten closer.

A softball sized hollow sphere of plutonium plus a hohlraum to contain the xrays generated after the sphere’s compaction might do the trick.

I wonder what Kevmo’s up to these days. Did he blaze out of here with an Opus Goodbye or was he just quietly zotted?
