I guess there is no real reason to upgrade yet. I adore the 11 pro. Especially the camera.
You do realize that 5G will go forward whether Apple does or not, right?
I have 2 ipads. One for work and the other for whatever. Have had one since they first came out and don’t know how people live without them.
I am upgrading my iPhone X to the iPhone 12. Would have considered a Samsung Galaxy S20 FE but going from iOS to Android ecosystem could be a major hassle.
I am going to find out why, based upon the best recommendation.
Pro or Air? I don't think I'll need the speed of the A16.
Thanks again.
Just get the airs. I had a pro that was....meh, gave it to my daughter.....airs are great.
Not quite accurate, Ozark. Apple reported 3.5 Gigabit down and 200 Megabit up in the worldwide 5G, but the full 4 Gigabit and 200 Megabit in the USs Verizons millimeter 5G version. Verizons president announced that yesterday during the iPhone 12 announcement. . . and its not just the Pro iPhone but all the iPhone 12 line.
Dont know about the censoring of the broadcast, but it could. The reason might be that Apple is in the process of moving a lot of its iPhone and iPad manufacturing to other nations such as Vietnam, Indonesia, Brazil, and India.
Perhaps. Frankly, when I use my iPhone 11 Pro, I do not even notice the notch. I have to consciously look for it to notice it.
Thats right. I suspect that its going to take five years for 5G to reach into the smaller towns and cities. . . and longer for the boonies, if ever, due to the short range that 5G signal has.
I seem to remember someone on FR lamenting about having to upgrade to a 6 or newer because with the roll out of 5G they were going to turn off 4G signals????
If you arent going to be doing pro work, and do not need the larger iPad Pro screen, Id think the iPad Air would do everything youll need. It works with the Apple Pencil, has a very fast A14 Bionic processor, and a great screen. I have the 2018 iPad Pro. . . and my Lady has the last generation iPad Air because she wanted it to fit in her purse. Both have cellular connection, which adds $100 to the base price, but not actually necessary as you can hotspot if from your cellular phone easily with WIFI for internet connection. Keep in mind the cellular connection adds an additional $10 per month plus taxes to your cellular bill for most carriers. Get sufficient storage if you are going to get a lot of apps, but plan on keeping your photos, music, movies, books, documents, and other content, etc., on iCloud and sharing it among all your Apple devices.
Not true. First of all, 4G is a subset of 5G. . . and currently they are finally getting around to shutting down the old 2G signals to free up those bandwidths for other purposes. 3G is still operational in rural areas for the foreseeable future, as will be 4G.
Hah hah!
I still also have my iPhone 5!
Wow, nice specs on the iPhone 13!
Make them here! Put a tariff on them. Maybe a 10% import duty ought to do it.
“None. 5g requires a fiber network and more towers.”
Do your homework!
It’s basic electronics.
“Its basic electronics.”
Doubling down on wrong?
