I remember their doing that on Election night 2016. They said the results must be faulty because the polls all pointed the other way. I think there was a similar reaction to the Brexit vote as well.

likely ... but they did that in 2016 with the fake russian hoax to “explain” the fake poll results ... wonder what they’ll come up with this time when trump wins ...

They tried that in ‘04 when the exit polls showed a Kerry win in the works. I remember even Rush sounding funereal as the early exit polls came in.
