True punks have always been Conservative, it was a rebellion against the hippies of the 1960s. These "grunge" bands of the 1990s who dared called themselves "punk" like Green day are frauds. They bash Capitalism yet have no issue taking 100% advantage of it just like those other idiots "Rage against the machine" who promote communism yet take every advantage of capitalism.
