I'm in the middle of Miami Vice. Actually season 4 and thought I'd take a small break and watch the first episode of 24. WOW, was it explosive in more ways than one. Its been 20 years so I don't remember anything except for Kiefer Sutherland. Something really good to look forward to after Miami Vice. And back to Miami Vice, In one episode, out of nowhere, Sonny Crocket got married. Sure wonder how thats going to be folded into future episodes???? If one hasn't watched/seen 24 put it on your list!!
One has to escape reality somehow.....:<(((((
Consider La Femme Nikita, too. It’s the forerunner of 24. Chloe = Birkoff. And Peta Wilson is stunning.
I’m scratching in between rigging a way to scare the possums from coming ninth back door.
What streaming service has 24?
Try to find “Jericho”, if you can. One of the best series after “24”, but only went 1 1/2 seasons. I have it on DVD.
SPOILER ALERT!

Crockett’s wife had the same life expectancy as the Cartwright women.
That first season of 24 was amazing!
Another one that is really good, there’s a recent thread on it here, is “The Americans” about deep cover soviet spys in the US in the 1980s.
It’s arguably one of the greatest TV shows of all time. It keeps you sympathetic to ALL the characters, but totally reveals the depravity of Communism.
Kerri Russell’s role of a lifetime, and everyone is excellent. Also especially the Russians (diplomatic type folks) who speak in Russian, so you have to remember to read the subtitles and don’t keep playing Candy Crush, or whatever!
In before the “all streaming services hate Republicans and you’re just giving your money to the enemy” posts.
Binge watched 24 all seasons at the outset of this crisis
Really enjoyed It!
Hulu - go no commercials
Added it to my list, thank you. Might do a quick search tonight.
My all time favorite tv show. I have it all on DVD and watch the whole thing every once in a while. It never gets old to me...lol
I loved 24!
We are currently looking for series that my father in law can watch, it has to be a slow, easy to follow story, not a lot of action and clean! We just finished heartland, which was perfect for him, a little too much drama, but he liked the old guy in it. Anything similar Yall can recommend?
I never missed an episode of “ Miami Vice” when it was new. Loved Don Johnson. I had my picture taken with his stunt guy. I would show the picture to people and let them believe it was Don then tell them the truth.
My streaming box uses a package called Exodus Redux. I think it might be available on other devices too???
Firestick?? Does anybody here use Firestick?
I always thought Nina Myers was hot!
“The Americans” was a great show.
That was good, I was disappointed it didn’t last longer.
Loved “24”. All that torture wouldn’t be politically correct these days.
Longmire.
