PENNSVILLE, N.J. (CBS) — More than 100 people gathered Thursday night to remember 17-year-old Madison Sparrow, who Delaware State Police say was murdered by her ex-boyfriend.
“Tonight’s gathering is a journey,” said Madison’s grandfather, Tom Mason.
That journey is one that not a single person wishes they were on, remembering 17-year-old Madison.
“This is a 17-year-old girl who is absolutely beautiful and you’re thinking about the shortness of life,” Mason said.
Delaware State Police say 19-year-old Noah Sharp, Madison’s ex-boyfriend, killed her late last week in New Castle County, Delaware.

My friend had the ‘missing’ thing about the girl on FB, she’s from DE, and she keeps up with all things Delaware.
I’m glad to see this posted here. Well, not glad, of course, but the focus on black on white crime needs to be maintained. Esp. the crimes against these young girls.
BLM can FOAD for all I care and I’ve felt that way all along, from the very start. If the cops had come upon this crime in progress and shot this POS dead he’d be a hero to BLM.

I used to have a neighbor who had two teenaged daughters. He impressed upon them that there were worse things in the world than racism.

For people who have no transcendent purpose to their lives and cannot invent one through contributing to a cultural tradition (for example), in other words who have no religious belief and no intellectual interests to stimulate them, self-destruction and the creation of crises in their life is one way of warding off meaninglessness. I have noticed, for example, that women who frequent bad men - that is to say men who are obviously unreliable, drunken, drug-addicted, criminal, or violent, or all of them together, have often had experience of decent men who treat them well, with respect, and so forth: they are the ones with whom their relationships lasted the shortest time, because they were bored by decency. Without religion or culture (and here I mean high, or high-ish, culture) evil is very attractive. It is not boring.Some girls would rather be terrified than bored. Being with a "bad boy" is exciting. This time, too exciting.
For black boys, having a white girlfriend gives status. Being rejected by a white girlfriend produces loss of status. Black boys are notorious for responding violently to "being disrespected", with perceived loss of status.
Parents whose daughter has a black boyfriend: be aware that if she breaks up with him, she is in danger.
Many white girls have walked through black ghetto areas with no problems. This doesn't mean that it's a good idea.
Madison, one of those names for girls that makes them rather doomed to an unfortunate life.
