I need a translation. What is a DM post or tweet? Did he think this was confidential, but wasn’t? And who is responding to Trump? The moderator? Why would Trump try to contact any of these fools directly?

DM means Direct Message, or Private Message, on Twitter. Only the person you DM can see your message/post. Kind of like PM, here on FR.
