Most people are jerks and busybodies who make poor decisions.
Some of the jerks are on public transport.
Some of the jerks become powerful figures in the government.
Giving power to the government, to control your life, lets the jerks decide what’s best for you.
Patriots are the people who are either throwing jerks to the ground and stomping on their head, or are the people working to reduce the control government has over us.

A clear and trenchant example that the worst form of tyranny is the tyranny of ‘’the common good’’. It enables no bodies to suddenly become ‘’somebody’’ in the interest of ‘’the common good’’.
There are two good ways to find out if someone is a jerk - either get them really drunk or give them a little authority.
