@TulsiGabbard
Brave whistleblowers exposing lies & illegal actions in our government must be protected.
Join me and urge Congress: Pass my bipartisan legislation (HRes1162, HRes1175, HR8452) calling for charges against @Snowden & Assange to be dropped & to reform the Espionage Act.
(Excerpt) Read more at twitter.com ...
The programs exposed i.e spying on ALL Americans metadata were not vital, they were illegal and in breach of the 4th..
I think you’re missing my point. It went well beyond the program you are referring to.
you like your gov’t lying to your face and running secret & illegal programs ?
That part is not being argued by me.
Snowden blew the whistle in the most dramatic fashion from a hotel room in Hong Kong then had to flea to Russia.
It was the only way this stuff would have come out, He did a great public service
Fine. Then the next guy sees that the US is interfering with a foreign election (let’s not be naive, we’ve done that and continue to do it). Or is committing unsavory acts in the interest of national security. The guy feels he has a moral obligation to leak it. He makes no distinction between domestic and foreign operations. Then what? Certainly it would be encouraged by our adversaries. As Snowden’s actions were. That’s why he’s living in Russia.
And like I said, Snowden leaked much more than the domestic program.
I respect your opinion, but I’m done. Peace.
No way Assange should be freed. He committed perhaps the largest espionage on the U.S. ever. Who knows how many U.S. lives were lost because of him?
Assange is a PUBLISHER surely... Manning was the leaker
By the way, Obama pardoned his accomplice, so you atre going full Obama.
He may have been a Russian asset.
Where is the evidence anyone died because of what Assange published?
You can't call him traitor, because he's Australia, but he is responsible for the single greatest anti-U.S. act of espionage in U.S. history. Any U.S. citizen who supports him is an traitorous anti-patriot who wants to being about the destruction of the country. They are also doing Obama's bidding.
That isnt entirely true. And even if it were, we cant have a private citizen without a security clearance sifting through documents relating to national security.

Maybe more importantly, we shouldn’t have James Clapper, head of the DNI, flat out lying to Congress about recording Americans’ phone conversations at NSA. Snowden exposed the police state.
Bradley/Chelsea Manning used classified access to download about 1 millions, mostly classified files, and gave them to Assange to post ALL of them.
This included troop locations, local assets, Afghani War logs, NOC spies, diplomatic cables, information about Guantanamo, Bagdad, everything. I suppose you think the United States' enemies did download that and act on it. We know the Taliban accessed it. They used it to kill all the locals who were working with the U.S. military. Why would you support that? They used it to kill U.S. troops. The Army may have only officially acknowledged one death in Afghanistan, but we know it was many more. I don't know if we will ever get an official tally of the disaster this was.
You don't think foreign countries killed our spies, when they were out on the internet?
How much do you think the release of sensitive diplomatic cables damaged U.S. foreign policy?
You don't actually think the stealing of so many files is a serious crime? What country do you live in? You side with the Taliban and Al Quaeda over the United States?
Links to anyone who has died because of what Assange published?
Give me the links/evidence...
That should be easy enough to answer, one way, or the other.
Secondly, do you support Obama's release of Chelsea Manning?
Snowden WAS WARNING us the NSA was up to no good with American citizens and now here we are General Flynns life destroyed, Rodger Stone life destroyed, Manafort why in the hell should we be punishing these people WHEN HELLARY and the gang can break these laws over and over again with no consequences!! SORRY but EQUAL justice for ALL where I am concerned DROP ALL CHARGES!!
We don't know enough about Snowden, but U.S. intelligence might now.
Snowden could have been a Russian asset all along. I don't know if that is true or not, but he doesn't deserve to drop all charges if he was a spy.
If he wasn't a Russian asset, he is a very stupid man, by not finding a safe location before his name was released. He ended up in Russia, where he gave the U.S. laptop and other info to the Russians.
Anyway, he is Russian property now, and they aren't going to let him go.
Assange was not a whistle blower at all, he was just an anti-America spy, and his accomplice was let go by President Obama.
id risk getting throat cancer that woman is so fine
