I lived and worked in Michigan, with cornfields to the one side and Lake Huron to the other.

There was a McDonalds across the parking lot across from our establishment. Toss a French fry on the ground and a crow would come from one direction, a seagull from the other.

A seagull vs. a crow for a French fry is an EPIC battle producing many hours of entertainment.
