Louisville Metro Police Officer Robinson Desroches, who was shot during protests of a grand jury's decision in the Breonna Taylor case, has been released from a hospital, a source confirmed to WDRB News on Sunday.
Desroches and Maj. Aubrey Gregory were shot Sept. 23 near the intersection of South Brook Street and West Broadway after responding to reports of gunshots in the area. Gregory was released from hospital care the next day, but Desroches required a longer stay to be treated for more severe injuries to his abdomen.

But they were peaceful protests.
-snort- yea, that's what the idiot libs on the Louisville KY subreddit have sounded like for months. "Oh it's not like the right wingers are claiming it to be!" Never mind the fact that most businesses downtown have had their glass storefronts boarded up for weeks, if not months. 100+ days of protests/riots with no end in sight thanks to our dipshit Dem state gov and dipshit Dem city mayor. Oh and we just swore in a new police chief last week; our THIRD since June of this year. Pray for us.
I don’t think Louisville will recover. All the new downtown and Whiskey Row will be annexed into the west end from what I’m seeing there.
We haven’t been downtown in a while (which sucks, this is our favorite time of year to visit Caufield’s, only the best yr round open local family owned costume/novelty store of all time. They’re celebrating 100 yrs of keeping Louisville weird this year) Last time we were downtown, seeing all of the businesses with the boarded up glass storefronts broke our hearts.
