Which theater chain is partially owned by china?
This is sad because many theaters are anchors to what is left of shopping malls.
How many people are now losing jobs? Not just at the theaters but those who are infrastructure support to the theaters. (delivery etc.)
Imagine if Pelosi had not demaned suffering continue by denying a bail out.

Regardless of the resolution of the pandemic - vaccine ... whatever... - I don't think movie theaters are ever coming back. The in-home experience and the variety available now via streaming services and on-demand.... why go to a theater?! Last flick I saw in theater was Ford vs Ferrari, and before that Dunkirk. Granted I am not the desirable demographic but....

I stopped going to theaters a long time ago. People today are so rude now that I can’t enjoy it. The jerks with their brightly lit phone screens popping up constantly is the biggest problem.
Most people today have nice enough big screens at home and $12 for a bag of pop corn and a soda is highway robbery.
