Same with me. I understand why they mispronounce it, and the mispronunciations don’t bother me in the least. Some people, like this Hawaiian woman, make an issue out of everything they can.

A couple of years back I found out from the woken-acracy that mispronunciation of one’s name is a micro-aggression; turns out I’ve been micro-aggrieved my entire life and I never even knew it.
