Because of the virus and the President. Should the elections be postponed?

Schumer thinks so. He said the vote for the Supreme Court should be moved.
Let's throw this back in their faces.

Of course not...he’ll be well past the virus by then.

Even if America’s enemies on the far left fringe are losing, the President of the United States having a cold is not justification for delaying the election. Let’s vote.

It’s easy to postpone a vote in the Senate.
It’s against the law to postpone a Federal election. Election dates are set in statute, and require changes to the law.
Remember, we’re the party of law and ORDER. Voting on time is the ‘order’ part.

The weak and sissified should stay home and not vote. The rest of us will get the job done.

There’s simply no mechanism for delaying or postponing the elections.

Trump's part is done for the SCOTUS nomination. No point in delaying over Trump.
Elections can continue, too. After 4 years, everyone is either for him or against. There not but 8 independents left in the whole country. And Chidi is one of them.

If he becomes comatose the election will still happen. Youll be voting for Pence in that case.

So the Senate cannot vote while the President has the virus?
To: vpintheak
Or they can just fill out the mail in ballot and make it more secure by driving it to a BOE drop box. Then they can take their “weak” asses back home.
Sheesh, I have vulnerable relatives who will probably vote by mail.

We totally agree, Chuck! Please tell all your friends and supporters to show up at the polls on November 17th. Please spread the word through the Democrat phone banks.

Makes the upcoming debate between Pence and Harris even more important now.
Pence has to come through.
