Incredible video released tonight. Chicago police officers confront a man wanted for stabbing a citizen nearby. Perp has a large knife, overcomes the Tazer and then charges the female sergeant.
He is shot 15 times before falling. No word if the officer was stabbed.

Second guy says “Sarah.”
It looks like he attempted to fire on an empty chamber, partially racked the slide, tried to fire again, and then finally fully racked the slide and was then able to start shooting. It appears that he failed his partner by not being ready to shoot.

Myth busters did a segment on it. If a guy with a knife is within 20 feet of you, he can stab you to death before you get your gun out of its holster.
Seems like self-preservation would take over. Screw Mayor Groot.
There two ways to stop a determined attacker.
1. Remove oxygen from their brain (or remove brain)
2. Break a femur or hip bone
Even with a .45 it takes 2-5 seconds with an abundance of body shots to center of mass to starve the brain of O2.
And, yeah, 90% of people will drop from shock after being hit in the chest by a .22.
It’s that 10% that are crazy that have killed more than 1 cop...in a hail of bullets.
If you watch this video closely, it was a head shot that dropped him like a sack of potatoes at the end.

The cop had to chamber a round before firing. She was running that weapon in Condition 3.
Here comes the law suit for excessive force. The trash has learned from recent events that if a relative gets themselves killed by police there is a 12 million dollar payday coming.
When a bad guy is hopped up on drugs and charging, a shot to the pelvis is a good remedy.
